L&BUD - Reshaping a construction business for a new stage of growth

PROJECT OVERVIEW

L&BUD is a construction materials company from Zakarpattia, Ukraine, built to serve both private customers and professional B2B partners. The project began as a complete transformation of an outdated business identity that no longer reflected the company’s ambition, relevance, or future direction. What was once Ursus Zakarpattia became L&BUD a new name, a new system, and a new foundation for growth. Our role covered the full process from naming and visual identity to brand strategy, communication, UX/UI, and website development. The goal was to create a brand that feels more current, more trustworthy, and better aligned with the expectations of a modern market.

PROJECT Challange

The original brand no longer worked in a digital context. It felt outdated, limited in ambition, and disconnected from how the company wanted to grow. The challenge was not only to refresh the look of the business, but to rethink how it should be positioned, presented, and experienced across every touchpoint. L&BUD needed to move beyond the image of a local supplier and grow into a more credible and structured company with a stronger presence in both retail and B2B segments.

PROJECT Approach

We approached L&BUD as a full-scale restart rather than a light rebrand. The work began with naming, where the goal was to create something stronger, clearer, and more memorable a name that could feel direct, recognisable, and ready for long-term brand building. From there, we developed the logo, visual identity, brand guidelines, brand strategy, and voice of the company, defining a more modern and reliable presence across communication and design. On the digital side, we designed the full UX/UI of the website, including wireframes, prototypes, product logic, filters, pop-ups, and page structures. A major part of the process was simplifying complexity: creating a system that could handle different product categories and user paths while still feeling clear and easy to navigate. Beyond the website itself, we also supported communication and marketing direction, helping shape messaging, content, and even on-the-ground brand presence through close collaboration with the team.

Project Outcome

The result was a complete transformation from an outdated regional identity into a more confident and scalable brand with a clear digital foundation. L&BUD now feels more aligned with the level of trust, expertise, and ambition behind the business itself. The new name, identity, and communication system created a stronger market presence, while the website became a central ecosystem for presenting products, case studies, services, and B2B value more clearly. The project also helped support real business momentum: stronger positioning, clearer communication, and a digital experience that could grow with the company as it expanded its reach, developed supplier relationships, and secured high-value contracts.
