Hashlist - Shaping a sharper future for automotive talent

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Hashlist is a platform connecting automotive companies with highly specialised software and embedded engineering talent. From the early stages of the company, we worked closely with the team to shape a stronger foundation across brand, product, and web. As the platform evolved, the challenge was not only to improve its visual presence, but to create a clearer and more confident system that could support both sides of the business: companies looking for trusted specialists, and talent considering whether to join the platform. Our role was to help bring structure, consistency, and maturity to that experience, translating a complex offer into something more focused, credible, and scalable.

PROJECT Challange

When we joined Hashlist, the company already had an initial brand direction, but it no longer reflected the level of ambition behind the product. The visual language felt underdeveloped, the UX lacked structure, and the overall communication was not yet strong enough to build trust in a fast-moving and highly specialised market. Another key challenge was the platform’s dual audience. Hashlist needed to speak clearly to automotive companies while also feeling relevant and convincing to engineers and specialists evaluating the opportunity from the other side. At the same time, the company itself was still refining its positioning, offer, and ideal client profile, which meant the design process had to move in parallel with the business as it became more defined.

PROJECT Approach

We joined Hashlist at a formative stage, helping bring greater clarity and cohesion to its visual and digital direction as the company refined its positioning and growth path. Our role spanned visual identity, art direction, tone of voice, design system thinking, product UX/UI, and website design and development. Rather than treating these as separate tasks, we approached them as parts of one connected system. We helped define how the brand should look, speak, and behave across touchpoints, while also designing much of the platform’s dashboard ecosystem and core UI patterns. On the web side, we designed and built the site in Webflow, shaping it from concept to launch and continuing to evolve it alongside the product narrative, go-to-market needs, and wider communication strategy. We also supported the team with pitch materials, presentation concepts, and visual storytelling assets that made the platform’s value more focused, credible, and easier to communicate.

Project Outcome

Our collaboration helped shape Hashlist into a more confident and coherent brand across product, web, and communication. We were responsible for shaping much of the company’s visual direction from the beginning, helping translate a technically complex automotive talent platform into interfaces and brand touchpoints that felt clearer, stronger, and easier to trust. The website grew together with the company’s positioning, while the product design work established a large part of the dashboard foundation and core interface patterns used across the platform. Beyond execution, the work also supported Hashlist during an important stage of growth, helping the team present the product and its value with more clarity as the company expanded and secured funding.

" Oleksandr has a unique eye for designing beautiful consistencies. He works tirelessly to hit tight deadlines, and has been a great design partner all along. Highly recommend working with him! "
