DJOD - Shaping a sharper digital presence for a new generation of DJ tools

PROJECT OVERVIEW

DJOID is a music curation platform built for professional DJs, record labels, and music curators working with increasingly complex libraries and faster-moving music discovery cycles. We joined the project at an early stage to help shape how that vision would be introduced to the market through digital design, art direction, and web experience. The challenge was to create a presence that felt innovative enough to reflect the product’s AI-driven capabilities, while still earning trust in a culture shaped by established tools, habits, and visual expectations. Our role was to turn that tension into something clear, desirable, and commercially effective building a digital foundation that could explain the product, support first sales, and evolve with DJOID as it grew.

PROJECT Challange

The product itself was innovative, but that innovation created its own tension. DJOID introduced features that could genuinely expand how professional DJs work, yet the audience was naturally cautious. The market is shaped by long-standing habits, familiar tools, and a visual language that has evolved over many years. To succeed, DJOID needed to feel new without feeling alien, advanced without feeling detached, and clear enough to explain why the product mattered in the first place. Alongside that, the business needed early traction, credibility, and a digital foundation capable of supporting first sales, waitlist growth, and ongoing marketing as the product evolved.

PROJECT Approach

We worked closely with the founder from the beginning, exploring multiple creative and strategic directions to find the right balance between innovation, credibility, and appeal within the professional DJ space. Since the app MVP and logo already existed, our work focused on building a stronger digital and visual system around them. We led the art direction and web experience, shaping a visual language that felt energetic and forward-looking while still grounded enough for a demanding audience. From there, we designed and developed the full website ecosystem in Webflow, including early-stage landing pages, waitlist and registration pages, marketing pages, and the broader website presence as the brand matured. Beyond the site itself, we also supported early email marketing direction and communication structure, helping define a more consistent tone for how DJOID speaks to its audience across channels.

Project Outcome

The result was a digital presence that helped DJOID move from early concept into a launched and growing product with a clearer market voice. Together, we built the first digital ecosystem around the brand, giving it a stronger visual direction, a more structured communication layer, and a website designed to support both credibility and conversion. The project helped turn a complex music-tech product into something more approachable, compelling, and easier to engage with. Most importantly, the launch phase generated strong early momentum, including over 10,000 people waiting for access, while creating a foundation that continues to support new features, marketing initiatives, and ongoing product growth.

"I have been working with Oleksandr since a year on various creative projects. I enjoy working together and trust him in delivering the best for our Brand. every project we worked on was a success. It's like working with a friend. We are still working together and hopefully for a long time."
