Casa Ysasi is a Los Angeles-based platform where contemporary art meets collectible design, bringing together Ysasi Gallery and Ysasi Studio within one digital world. The brand presents exhibitions, artists, limited editions, furniture, lighting, objects, and merch through a single experience that blends cultural storytelling with commerce. We were invited to improve that digital experience, refine the e-commerce flow, and create a clearer structure that could connect the gallery side of the business with the studio’s collectible design offer. Our role was to help shape a more intuitive and immersive platform one that feels editorial, emotionally engaging, and easier to navigate across art, objects, and shopping journeys.

The main challenge was structural clarity. Casa Ysasi is not a simple e-commerce store or a standard gallery website it operates across multiple layers at once, including exhibitions, artist pages, journal content, collectible objects, furniture, lighting, and shop flows. The digital experience needed to unify these worlds without flattening their character or making the site feel overly commercial. At the same time, the platform had to support a more understandable e-commerce path, making it easier for visitors to move between discovery, storytelling, and purchase. The goal was to preserve the emotional and curatorial quality of the brand while building a clearer and more usable experience underneath it.

We approached Casa Ysasi as a digital experience project focused on clarity, flow, and cohesion. Our work centred on improving the website structure, refining the e-commerce journey, and helping the platform better connect the identities of the gallery and the studio. This meant thinking carefully about navigation, page hierarchy, product discovery, and the relationship between editorial content and commerce. Rather than treating the site as a pure storefront, we helped shape it as a more fluid environment where artworks, exhibitions, artist profiles, furniture, lighting, and design objects could coexist naturally. The aim was to make the experience feel clearer and more intentional, while still reflecting Casa Ysasi’s strong emphasis on craftsmanship, materiality, and emotional storytelling.

The result was a more coherent and elevated digital platform for Casa Ysasi — one that better supports both its cultural presence and its commercial goals. By improving the flow between gallery, studio, and shop, the website became easier to understand and more natural to explore, while preserving the atmosphere and distinctiveness of the brand. The project helped strengthen Casa Ysasi’s online presence as both an art destination and a collectible design platform, giving visitors a clearer path through exhibitions, artists, journal content, and product categories in one connected experience.
" In today's digital world, where businesses rely heavily on professional websites, Oleksandr was essential in bringing our many ideas to life and creating a clean, concise website that represents our company.
Working with Oleksandr was seamless. He combines great design taste with strong technical skills and a truly collaborative approach. Rather than simply agreeing our requests, he recommended valuable creative solutions and insights that improved the project. Throughout the process, Oleksandr was patient, communicative, and adaptable as we refined our vision. He understood not only what we wanted but why.
I highly recommend Oleksandr for anyone seeking a web developer who delivers both creative solutions and practical results in a bespoke and collaborative process."
